Bandari House INC believes that by changing working relationships, the Youth will have committed professionals to assist them in reaching their desired quality of life and enhance their ability to live independently. They will have access to a safe place to learn and practice tools that promote personal growth. Both the professionals and youth will live in a semi-structured environment under essential agreements expressing need, empathy, and concerns for each other.
With our programs, the Youth will have an opportunity to interface as equals and talk openly about perspectives, beliefs, challenges, and achievements. They will have an opportunity to reintegrate themselves into their defined communities as an independent individual, with the ability to operate without direction and minimal supervision. The expectation is that individuals will understand, acknowledge, and accept their growth and identify themselves as Youth. The Youth may begin to understand that independent living is a privileged responsibility, which is earned and not assumed with age.
